                            Wild Rice Casserole

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

      1/2  cu            butter or margarine -- melted
    3      stalks        celery -- thinly sliced
    2      medium        onions -- finely chopped
    1      10.75 oz can  cream of mushroom soup
    2 1/2  cups          water
    2      7 oz pkgs     wild rice & long-grain converted rice mix
    1      4 oz can      sliced mushrooms -- drained
      1/2  pound         processed American cheese -- cubed
 
 Combine all ingredients in Crock-Pot; stir thoroughly.  cover and cook on Low f
 or 6 to 10 hours or on High for 2 to 3 1/2 hours. 
 
 Serves 6 to 8
